Crockpot Fettucine Alfredo

Joe is an alfredo-freak! He loves this sauce on anything and is always what he orders at Italian restaurants. His latest favorite has been pizza with alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce.

I, on the other hand, only like alfredo sauce in this recipe. This was given to me by my cousin Holly and it tastes so good! The official name given to me is Pizza Factory Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. So if you've eaten at that restaurant and like their food, you'll love this one!!

CROCKPOT FETTUCCINE ALFREDO
  • 1 cube of butter

  • 2 chicken breasts, cubed

  • 1 envelope of “Good Seasons” Italian dry mix

Cook these ingredients in the crockpot for 3 hours. Then add:
  • 8 oz. of cream cheese

  • 1 can cream of chicken

  • 1/2 can of water

Cook for 1 hour longer. Once everything is cooked, stir and let sit for 30-45 minutes so it can thicken. Serve over hot fettuccine noodles.

I've made this before except I don't add water or butter and put it over rice, we use that recipe for our "hawaiin haystacks" and put a bunch of toppings over it. You should try that too!

They are way good, I put the cheese, peas, crunchy chow mein noodles, and celery for the toppings. But you can do whatever you want. Ya I'm one of Shannon's friends and I get bored and like to look at other people's blogs and you were her guest blogger one day so that's how I found you and Shellie :) But when I saw your recipe I was like yum that looks good and then I was reading the ingredients and I was like wow that's like exactly the same as what I use.

I am having a graduation party with 150-200 guests and this would be great . thanks for any help you can give..Rosie from Mpls

Hi Rosie! Yes, a cube of butter is the same as a stick of butter. I only have two settings on my crockpot and I put it on the low setting. And I'd say that it makes approximately 8 servings.

What a fun dinner for a graduation dinner. Just make sure you let the sauce sit for awhile so that it thickens up!!
