Pineapple and Green Chile Pork Tacos

These tacos are sooooo good! I got the recipe from Cassie's blog Cassie Craves because she loved it....so naturally I would too. Especially because she's pregnant and is constantly craving BBQ which is my favorite, so right now we're on the same page culinary-wise. =)

Anyways, these tacos are unbelievably easy to make and they taste delicioso!

PINEAPPLE AND GREEN CHILE PORK TACOS
  • 2 pound boneless pork roast
  • 1 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple, with juices
  • 1 16-ounce jar of salsa verde (tomatillo salsa)
  • 2 4-ounce cans of green chiles
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar (I forgot to add this and it still tasted great! So omit it if you want it to be a little healthier)
  • Tortillas, sour cream, cilantro, cheese, and whatever else you like on tacos
Combine all the ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Shred pork and season with salt and pepper. In a colander, strain the juices from the slow cooker. Serve the pork and pineapple/chile mixture with desired toppings.
