Crockpot Creamed Corn

This is another one of those recipes that I could have sworn I had put on the recipe blog, but somehow neglected to do so. This is my family's absolute favorite side dish, hands down. I usually triple this recipe because they want to eat it all week long.

I had never had creamed corn before trying this recipe out. I'm now completely hooked! I got it from the trusty ol' site, AllRecipes.com.

CROCKPOT CREAMED CORN
  • 1 1/4 (16 ounce) packages frozen corn kernels (I use 2 cans of corn)
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
In a slow cooker, combine corn, cream cheese, butter, milk, and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook on High for 2 to 4 hours, or on Low for 4 to 6 hours. Let it sit for about 30-45 minutes to thicken.

I have had this before and it is TO DIE FOR! I am not a huge fan of corn either and I love this. We had it at Christmas and I am glad that now I have the recipe and can make it again. Thanks for the post.

You triple it so we can eat it all week????? Um, that's a lie. You HAVE to triple it or else all 5 of us don't get it, only about 2 or 3 of us!!!!
