Homemade Taco Seasoning

About a year ago I wanted to make a meal that required taco seasoning and I didn't have any on hand. I checked out some recipes online and decided that it looked easy enough to make it on my own. I've been doing it every since and love it! I think it tastes a lot better than the packets you buy PLUS it doesn't have anything nasty in it like MSG. Did you know that most taco seasoning packets had MSG in it? I didn't until I started making my own and compared the ingredients in both. So here's my version that I love and it's equivalent to using one packet.

HOMEMADE TACO SEASONING
  • 3 teaspoons chili powder
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Mix together and you're done!

This is very much like the taco seasoning I make. I love taco flavoring!
