So I've been seeing a recipe for apple dumplings in random places that has Mountain Dew as one of the ingredients. I thought of how weird that was and not being a big Mountain Dew fan, I passed on the desire to make it. But then crazy pregnancy hormones kicked in and I got a craving for Mountain Dew. Our friends Lindsay and Scott invited us over for dinner, so I volunteered to make this for dessert and we all loved it! You don't taste the Mountain Dew at all and I think it tastes better than apple pie! It's very easy to make, so try it!APPLE DUMPLINGS
- 2 Granny Smith apples
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoons vanilla
- Cinnamon
- 1 small can Mountain Dew (I used half a regular-sized 12 ounce bottle)
